I am often asked “How often should I check my mirrors?”<\/p>\n

The answer is prior to any change in speed or direction, or every 5 – 10 seconds if you are travelling along a road at a constant speed.<\/p>\n

It is important to know what is happening all around you, so that you are aware of the effect of your actions are likely to have on other road users.<\/p>\n
